I miss the old days. . .
This song brings back a lot of memories to me, as it also makes me proud to be Kuwaiti. Why don't we do great stuff on Theatre these days. We got the talents, but we're to lazy to perform I guess. Last month, the Ministry Education brought back our wonderful artists Shadi Al-Khaleej and Sanaa Al-Kharraz and formed an operate joining a big group of girls from public schools. It was a great thing to watch on TV, but still, there was something missing. I don't know what it is but it's not as good as the old days.
I'm posting another video too for another song that was performed back in the 80's.

EEE WAALLLLAAAAAAAHHH!! I truly miss those great days. Still, I don't know what's the missing factor that differs this play than the new ones! Is it the small kids that used to love such type of songs and performance (in relation to these days' kids who only care about watching international celebrities and watch tv more than going and playing outside). Then, I guess it's the shift in interest, isn't it? What do you think? I'm actually in love with those old plays! :P. Thanks for that clip.
I guess you're right. It's the true patriotic feeling that misses from the girls on stage these days. I remember the thing I watched most when I was a kid was those performances, and every time I hear one of the songs I just get goosebumps! they're amazing! ;P
