Losin' it : Day 3 & 4

I wasn't really in the mood to write yesterday. This diet is starting to make me sick. I mean, I realized for now, I could go on with no carbs for a few days and hopefully a week, but to have almost the same food everyday? It's killing me. I was discusssing with my mom, whether or not should I stop the diet. But stopping it, doesn't mean that I'm going to stop working out! I told her I could eat whatever I want, four meals a day, excluding the carbs. I'll try that for another week and hope it works well.

Losin' it : Day 2

Today is a bit exhausting for me. I mustn't have any real food. The only thing I get to eat is fruits. That is so sad, well for me. I'm really not into fruits. If I decide to eat some, they should be mixed with some of my favorite foods like pancakes or french toast. Sometimes even a pineapple cake would do the trick! I've woken up since 8 am and had a meeting regarding our small business, me and my co partner. On days like this, I prefer to eat normal food. But there's no choice for me. I either go on this diet or I'll never do it in the future. Just hope 11 days would pass quickly so I could have my sinful food later on!

Losin' it : Day 1

I just started this 11 day diet, and so far it's been going well, except that I'm not eating any chocolate or Carbs. I wonder if I'll be lasting this long with no bread. The rest of the carbs I can live without, but bread is a necessityfor me. I can't start my day without it. This is not the crash diet type. It's basically one of those diets that shifts daily calories through meals and you never feel hungry because it's four meals a day and no limits on portions. Good luck to me. I'm off to my workout session.

Ze Big Night Show Wiz Khalid Abo Al-Naga

I rarely watch TV, and when I get a chance to do so, I only browse through the Showtime Channels and sometimes MBC. I've forgotten that some Arabic channels exist too. Yesterday when I came back home around the afternoon, my mom had Dubai TV on. There was this show called "Al Layla Al Kabeera ma3a Khalid Abu Alnaja, " which means "The Big Night Show with Khalid Abu Alnaja." It's an Arabic version of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and to be frank, it's ridiculous. The show does not only use the Idea of Jay's show, but Khalid actually imitates Jay's moves and facial expressions. I didn't bother watching the rest of it, because I thought Khalid is a dull version of Jay Leno. Personally, I think Jay wasn't as funny as before, but I still enjoy watching his shows when he hosts some great celebrities.

What makes me laugh at the Arabic version is when they write "fikrat wa i3dad" which means the Idea was by.... and there's some guy's name written. I guess he was too lazy to think of a creative show to present to the Arabic Audience.

What keeps those people from innovation? Are they too lazy, or just too scared to present new ideas to our culture? It's sad to see the same advertisements over and over everywhere I go, with a different company logo, or even seeing the same logo with a different company name.

Someone told me, that there are no more ideas left in the world, that's why you see that some logos are similar. I completely disagreed with him. The human mind is brilliant, it just needs to get working. There is a variety of endless ideas in everyone's mind. The challenge here is how to apply such innovation.

Correct me if I'm wrong about the Show and watch it on Dubai TV Sundays at 9:30 pm. The re-run is Thursdays 5:00 pm.

McSlurs at Seattle Grace

Seems that the issue of Isaiah Washington (Dr. Preston Burke/Grey's Anatomy) on his gay slur months ago about T.R. Knight isn't over yet. a few months ago a major arguement between Isaiah and Dempsey occured on-set , which forced T. Knight to come out of the closet. Isaiah brought the word up again during the Golden Globes, which caused anger among the cast especially Katherine Heigl who insisted that Washington "needs to just not speak in public."

"I hold his talent, and T.R. as a person, in high esteem. I know a mere apology will not end this, and I intend to let my future actions prove my sincerity." Washington, who plays Dr. Preston Burke on the hit ABC show, denied in the pressroom at the Golden Globes on Monday that he ever used a gay slur in reference to Knight. "No, I did not call T.R. a faggot," said Washington. "Never happened, never happened." But during an appearance Wednesday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Knight said that Washington did use the word during an on-set argument with costar Patrick Dempsey in October. "He referred to me as a faggot," he told DeGeneres. "Everyone heard it."

Rumors have been going around that Isaiah might be out of GA, but Shonda Rhimes insists that none of the cast would be replaced.

Back in Business

So it's been a long while since I've blogged. Thanks to my cousin who mentioned that it's been a long time, I'm glad he said that, because I just checked my page and realized that I've missed blogging. Seriously, I noticed it's a stress reliever. I could take out all my anger on it and not be banned from Blogspot, just like some friends would do if I ever get mad at them ;D
Anyway, great to back here. I'm gonna need blogging to express my daily thoughts, especially now, that I'll be starting my own little business with a co-partner. I'm getting in touch with the Real Kuwaiti Society and meeting those people whom I only saw on TV, in our lame shows of course.
Thanks O, for bringing me back to the blogging world. I'll try not to stop! :-)
Cheers all!
